SMEs struggling to source leadership skills and talent in the North East are to benefit from a ‘Future Leaders’ programme launching in January 2020.
Duo Global Consulting, based at Hoults Yard in Newcastle, is launching the initiative for people who have recently been promoted into management roles, or have potential to progress to senior roles in the future, offering a fundamental management toolkit across a series of workshops.
The workshops will run for six months between January and June 2020 and will be held on one full day each month including a blend of one-to-one delivery, breakout sessions, peer round table discussions, group coaching and online support.
Sarah Callender, commercial director at Duo Global Consulting, said: “We see a huge opportunity for developing future leaders, especially in growing businesses where high performing people are often promoted to management roles without any core leadership skills or experience under their belt.
“The Future Leaders programme is designed to give people new ideas, skills and confidence to drive performance in their elevated role, and leave with a practical toolkit of resources to implement into the business they work for, adding more value to the company.”
She added: “This opportunity will provide businesses with the ability to build a qualified pipeline of future leaders, decreasing the risk of promoting inexperienced managers or leaders in the future and it will also increase the success of promoted managers so that they can maximise impact from the outset.”← Back to all Press
